For the second year in a row, Westminster Christian Academy raised funds (with love!) for ICU baby. Led by Westminster teacher Melissa Dubocq, the Junior Honor Society Students sold Valentine’s candies around the school and allocated proceeds to support ICU baby’s initiatives.
Ms. Dubocq had a NICU experience of her own with her daughter and met the ICU baby NICU Parent Mentor team on the floor of South Miami Hospital’s NICU. She has been giving back in various ways ever since.
This year, she was joined by sixth grader Sean Klevan, who decided to donate his own money to the cause, which was matched by his father via Bank of America. ICU baby is grateful to Ms. Dubocq for “paying it forward” to help future NICU families, with the help of her compassionate students.
