Testimonials and metrics show that ICU baby’s work to support NICU families is critical, and now… guess what? There is an App for that! Thanks to funding from The Children’s Trust Innovation Fund, ICU baby had the opportunity to develop an app that consolidates all of its programs and resources to be at the fingertips of a NICU parent. The ICU baby Team unveiled the app and its inner workings during an intimate cocktail of supporters, kicking off World Prematurity Month.
Former NICU families were among the guests and shared that having the app while they were in the NICU would have changed their NICU experience for the better. After seeing the technology, NICU Mom Shayna Dominguez shared, “It is everything I could have hoped for in the NICU, every option, the letters to your baby, oh my gosh, I loved it.”
The ICU baby team can’t wait to see how impactful this app is in 2024 as more and more families have access to ICU baby right on their phone!
During the cocktail hour, six companies were awarded with plaques as they were commemorated for their partnership to ICU baby for three or more years.
