ICU baby Youth Ambassadors had the special opportunity to visit the NICUs at Holtz Children’s Hospital and Baptist Health South Miami Hospital, the units they work so hard all year to support. During their tours the students learned from the neonatologists… the true heroes of the units who care for these fragile babies every day.

The ambassadors gained a deeper understanding of the medical care, technology, and compassion that define the NICU experience. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gomez-Zaghmout, Dr. Galarza, and Dr. Pierre for sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation of advocates for NICU families.
