ICU baby Parent Mentor, Pascale Van Kipnis, recently took the TEDx stage at the Delphi Neonatal Innovation Conference, hosted by Incubator Neonatal Network. The conference brought together some of the brightest minds in neonatal care, all working toward improving the NICU experience for families and babies.
In her talk, Pascale shared her personal journey as the mother of triplets born in the NICU and reflected on how that experience connected with the discipline and resilience she developed during her career as a ballerina. She spoke openly about the challenges and emotions of the NICU journey.
Pascale has been an ICU baby Parent Mentor for 6 years. She shared that becoming a mentor is deeply meaningful because she once wished someone had been there to guide and support her during her own NICU experience.
