Holtz Children’s Hospital and South Miami Hospital hosted their annual NICU Reunions honoring all NICU warriors and their families. ICU baby was grateful to participate in the events and happy to see them return after a COVID hiatus. The reunions were attended by former NICU families as well as families that currently have babies in the two NICUs. NICU graduates in attendance ranged from month old babies to grown adults.

The ICU baby team was excited to have the opportunity to reconnect and spend time with our beloved NICU families! It was great to see so many familiar faces and growing families. For some, it was the first time we’d ever met in person after communicating weekly via telephone during COVID health restrictions. And for others, we are now fortunate to have them on our team of NICU Parent Mentors.
