ICU baby recognized World Prematurity Day in-hospital with NICU families experiencing what that day of observance really means. The statistics are startling… 1 in 10 babies in the US is born premature and preterm births and their complications are the #1 cause of death of children under 5.

At Holtz Children’s Hospital, families received beautiful baskets of food and gifts, generously donated by International Finance Bank. Baby Cottons also donated baby outfits for the families who attended at both Holtz and South Miami Hospitals. Parents enjoyed lunch and were very grateful for the generous gifts.
