ICU baby is proud to support even more NICU families in the South Florida community with its recent expansion to three additional hospitals this Fall. Funding from the Florida Department of Health provided ICU baby with the opportunity to introduce its NICU Empowerment Support Tools (NEST) Program in the NICUs of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and University Hospital. Thanks to the collaboration of the administration and NICU healthcare teams at all of these hospitals, families will have access to information about the NICU via a book, videos and online connections to community resources.

ICU baby’s Transportation Assistance Program was also launched at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, offering NICU families with financial hardship support for transportation costs to and from the NICU. Thanks to all of our supporters and volunteers who have paved the way for this expansion.
