We are grateful for the support of Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, whose dedication to her community made a lasting impact on NICU families. Commissioner Cohen Higgins helped launch Give Miami Day by contributing $2,500 which was matched by The Miami Foundation to support ICU baby’s Transportation Assistance Program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Thanks to this generosity, more parents were able to be by their baby’s side during the holiday season—easing the burden of transportation costs during an already challenging time.
